NJ SUMMIT — Commission plans April Earth Day cleanup, applies for EV-charging grant. The Environmental Commission, meeting virtually amid winter weather, outlined the April 18 Earth Day cleanup and announced a $10,000 Sustainable Jersey grant application for City Hall EV charging infrastructure. Chair Donna Goggin Patel reported the Tiny Forest reforestation project has installed two bird nests designed to attract Eastern Screech Owls, Northern Flickers, and Black-capped Chickadees.

Together for Biodiversity, a new nonprofit focused on birds and biodiversity, plans World Wildlife Day events in March.
