Earth Day clean-up draws 230 volunteers to 11 Summit sites

NJ SUMMIT — Environmental Commission reports 230 volunteers at April 18 Earth Day clean-up across 11 sites collecting 3,000 pounds of trash. Participating officials included Mayor Elizabeth Fagan, Councilmembers Jamel Boyer, Dan Crisafulli, Chantal Landman, Jackie Lasaracina, and Council President Claire Toth. The commission also reported a $10,000 Sustainable Jersey grant application for an EV charging station at City Hall and a planned Green Showcase event for May 27.
